You know that concert hangover you get after an amazing show? Everything hurts so good!
The best: (I feel sooo bad for my friend) My friend and her boyfriend bought tickets to see Lamb of God in Boston tonight, and in a series of very unfortunate events they couldn’t go. She offered to sell me the tickets for $20 a piece.
The worst: I’m 2 hours from Boston and I don’t have a car. I couldn’t find anyone to go with me either. The 2 people I know with cars and that would be interested are not really people that would be good concert companions either. I’ve been to a show with one of them, and never again. The other I can see being “that guy” in the pit.
I hope she found someone to take the tickets, I tried to help and find some friends back home to take them but no luck. I’d have had to go back to my hometown to pick up the tickets (an hour from where I go to school, but like an hour to Boston) but nope.

I have a friend in Manchester who said they’d do it, but It’s more than a little out of their way sooo yah.
This will happen.
Was AMAZING. Both bands played realllly long sets and played just about every song I like by them. Reel Big Fish played Suburban Rhythm (and the many versions of!!) It was a little gross because I was completely covered in other peoples sweat by the end because I was in the front row most of the time :D
It was kinda shitty because one of my friends got knocked out in the pit and was a little on the head injured side on the way home.
Ska shows are more brutal then most of the metal shows I’ve been too lol
RX Bandits will be playing their last Tour this Summer. We are very happy to announce that Maps & Atlases will be joining them on the majority of the dates as well as Zechs Marquise on all dates (excluding the first in AZ). Also on the first leg will be Happy Body Slow Brain and Fang…
I need to go to this. It has to happen. They’ll be in Boston for 2 days!! OH SWEET JESUS I WANT TO GO
It was better than that actually. If the crowd wasn’t full of high school morons it would’ve been orgasmic. The musicality of those groups is unbelievable! (I’m not a hipster I swear)
Human Abstracts did an encore of an instrumental “Crossing the Rubicon” and “Digital Veil” (With Vocals) that was OUT OF THIS WORLD.
To me, a good concert is like having sex. If it’s good, you’re covered in someone else’s sweat, and you have this feeling of contentment and want a cigarette after.
But that’s just me.
